Product Application: The FSK Shield™ Class A, fire-rated, aluminum facing changes the air film coefficient to Low-e (emittance). It’s an insulated roof deck (see images 1 and 4). According to the ASHRAE Handbook Tables, this application adds an R-4.6 to the insulation system.
